Repair Procedures

Removal

  1. Shift the transmission to "N".

  2. Remove the knob (A) by pulling it in the direction of the arrow after removing the boot from the upper console cover.

  3. Remove the floor console assembly.

    (Refer to Body - Floor Console Assembly)

  4. Remove the rear air duct after loosening the mounting nut.

  5. Disconnect the main connector (A) and remove the wire harness clamps (B) from the shift lever.

  6. Remove the shift cable from the shift lever pin after releasing the clip (A).

  7. Remove the cable connector (A) from the shift lever.

  8. Remove the shift lever (A) after loosening the bolts.

    Tightening torque: 8.8–13.7 N·m

Installation

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
