Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) Level Check
Start the engine to warm up the ATF.
Using KDS, make sure the ATF temperature is between 50 °C and 60°C (122–140°F).
Slowly move the shift lever from the "P" position to the "D" position, then back to the "P" position. Repeat this sequence two times, then move the shift lever to the "P" position.
Raise the vehicle and remove the ATF level plug (A) from the valve body cover.

Check the ATF level.
Normal: ATF flows out in a thin stream.
Excessive (Abnormal): More than 0.9 L of ATF flows out within 2 minutes.
Insufficient (Abnormal): No fluid flow.
Install the ATF level plug (A).
Tightening torque: 22.6–24 N·m

After checking or replacing the ATF level, be sure to wipe off any ATF from the outside of the automatic transmission.
(Make sure no ATF remains between the automatic transmission and the valve body cover.)
Replacement
Remove the ATF drain plug (A), allow the fluid to drain, and then reinstall the drain plug.
Tightening torque: 22.6–24 N·m

Fill the automatic transmission with approximately 7 L of ATF SP-IV-RR through the ATF filler hole.
Perform the ATF level check procedure.
