1. Instrument Panel

repair procedures

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

  1. Remove the crash pad cover.

    (Refer to Instrument Panel - "Main Panel")

  2. Release the connector (A) and the clips in the front pillar.

  3. Disconnect the multi-box connector (A), then remove the wiring clips.

  4. Disconnect the fuse block connector in the passenger foot space (A).

  5. Disconnect the connector (A), then remove the wiring clips.

  6. Disconnect the airbag control module connector (A).

  7. Disconnect the evaporator temperature sensor connector (A), then remove the wiring clips.

Disconnect the BCM connectors (A) and (B).

  1. Disconnect the mode door actuator connector (A).

  2. Disconnect the blower motor connector (A), then release the locking clips.

  3. Disconnect the MOSFET connector (A) and the temperature control actuator connector (B).

  4. Disconnect the blower intake actuator connector (A).

  5. Disconnect the smart key unit connector (A).

  6. Remove the cap (A) and nuts, then remove the wiper arm (B).

    Tightening torque: 22.6~26 N·m

  7. Disconnect the washer hose (A).

  8. Release the locking clips, then remove the hood upper panel (A).

  9. Disconnect the wiper motor connector (A).

  10. Loosen the mounting screws, then remove the wiper motor and linkage (A).

  11. Loosen the mounting screws (A) and remove the instrument panel support.

  12. Remove the caps (AN) from the instrument panel mounting bolt.

  13. Loosen the mounting screw and nuts, then remove the instrument panel support (A).

  14. Remove the main harness (A) from the instrument panel brace.

  15. Installation is the reverse of removal.
