Components and Components Location

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

  2. Remove the lower instrument panel trim.

    (Refer to Body - "Lower Instrument Panel Trim")

  3. Remove the upper and lower steering column covers.

    (Refer to Body – "Steering Column Cover")

  4. Disconnect the electronic steering column lock connector (A).

  5. Remove the electronic steering column lock (A).

    (Refer to Steering System - Steering Column and Steering Shaft)

Installation

  1. Install the electronic steering column lock.

    Tightening torque: 7.0~13 N·m

  2. Install the steering column.

  3. Install the lower instrument panel.
