Beschreibung

The side airbags (SAB) are located in the front seats and protect the driver and front passenger from injury in a side collision. The SRSCM decides whether to deploy the side airbags based on signals from the side impact sensors (SIS).

Repair Procedures

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

  1. Battery

  2. Sitzlehnenbezug abnehmen.

    (Siehe Karosserie - "Vordersitzlehnenbezug")

  3. Seitenairbagmodul (A) ausbauen.

    Anzugsdrehmoment: 6,0 - 8 N·m

  4. Der Einbau erfolgt in der umgekehrten Reihenfolge des Ausbaus.
