Beschreibung

Head airbags (left and right) are located in the headliner and protect the driver and front passenger in a side collision. The SRSCM decides whether to deploy the head airbags based on signals from the side impact sensors (SIS).

1. Headliner bag (CAB)

Repair Procedures

Removal

  1. Batteriemasseklemme abklemmen und vor Beginn der Arbeiten mindestens drei Minuten warten.

  2. Dachverkleidung abnehmen.

    (Siehe Karosserie - "Dachverkleidung")

  3. Steckverbinder (A) vom Kopfairbagmodul abziehen.

  4. Schrauben des Kopfairbags lösen und den Kopfairbag ausbauen.

    TIGHTENING TORQUE Bolts: 7.8 - 11.7 N·m

  5. Der Einbau erfolgt in der umgekehrten Reihenfolge des Ausbaus.
