Replacing Fuses (Engine Compartment)

1. Schalten Sie die Zündung und alle elektrischen Schalter aus.

2. Open the fuse box cover by releasing the latches and removing the cover. If the blade fuse is separated, remove it using the fuse puller provided for replacing fuses in the engine compartment fuse box. After removal, install a fuse with the same rating securely.

3. Inspect the removed fuse and replace it if it is blown. Use the fuse puller provided in the engine compartment fuse box to remove and install fuses.

4. Insert a new fuse with the same amperage and make sure it is firmly seated in the socket. If the fuse box is damaged or the fuse is not securely fixed, contact a repair shop. Kia recommends contacting a Kia dealer/service partner.

WARNING

After working on the engine compartment fuse box, close the fuse box cover securely with the cover latches. Otherwise, moisture may enter and cause electrical malfunctions.

Mehrfachsicherung

Ersetzen Sie eine durchgebrannte Mehrfachsicherung wie folgt:

1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.

2. Lösen Sie die in der obigen Abbildung gezeigten Muttern.

3. Replace the blown fuse with a fuse of the same amperage.

4. Der Einbau erfolgt in der umgekehrten Reihenfolge des Ausbaus.
