This warning light will illuminate for approximately 6 seconds each time the ignition switch is turned to the ON position.

This warning light also illuminates when the SRS is not functioning properly. If the airbag warning light does not illuminate, stays on after approximately 6 seconds of operation after the ignition switch is turned ON or the engine is started, or illuminates while driving, we recommend having the system inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.
