   If higher-grade detergent gasoline is not available, it is recommended to add one bottle of fuel additive to the fuel tank every 12,000 km or at every oil change. Additives are available from your authorized Kia dealer, along with usage information. Do not mix different types of additives.

SEVERE SERVICE MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE (T-GDI ENGINE)

The following items must be serviced more often under severe service conditions. Refer to the following table for the appropriate service interval.

SEVERE SERVICE CONDITIONS

A - Repeated short trips of less than 8 km (5 miles) in normal temperatures or less than 16 km (10 miles) in cold weather. B - Excessive idling or low-speed driving over long distances. C - Driving on rough, dusty, muddy, unpaved, gravel or salted roads.

D - Driving in areas where salt or corrosive materials are used, or in very cold weather E - Driving in sandy areas F - Driving in heavy traffic above 32°C (90°F) G - Driving in mountainous terrain H - Towing a trailer or caravan, or using a roof rack I - Service as a patrol car, taxi, or other commercial use, or for towing J - Frequent driving in stop-and-go traffic
