Repair Procedures

Replacement

[Steering Column Cover Upper Panel]

  1. Lower the steering wheel.

  2. Using a screwdriver or a trim removal tool, remove the airbag side cover [LH] (A).

  3. Using a screwdriver or a trim removal tool, remove the upper steering column shroud panel (A).

  4. Loosen the mounting screw and remove the [LH] trim panel (A).

  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

[Steering Column Cover Lower Panel]

  1. Remove the airbag lower panel.

    (Refer to Crash Pad - "Crash Pad Lower Panel")

  2. Loosen the mounting screws by turning the steering wheel left and right, then remove the lower steering column shroud panel (A).

  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
