For the cigarette lighter to work, the ignition switch must be in the ACC or ON position.

To use the cigarette lighter, push it fully into its socket. Once heated, the element pops out automatically and the cigarette lighter is ready for use.

If replacement is necessary, use only a genuine Kia part or an approved equivalent product.

WARNING

  • Do not hold the cigarette lighter in once it is already hot, as it will overheat.
  • If the cigarette lighter does not pop out within 30 seconds, pull it out to prevent overheating.
  • Do not insert foreign objects into the cigarette lighter socket.
The cigarette lighter may be damaged. WARNING Use the cigarette lighter socket only for genuine Kia cigarette lighters. Do not connect electrical accessories (such as shavers, compressors, coffee makers, etc.) that could damage the socket or cause electrical system faults.
