The power outlets are designed to power mobile phones or other devices that operate on the vehicle's electrical system voltage. Such devices must draw less than 10 amperes with the engine running.

WARNING

  • Use the power outlet only with the engine running, and unplug the accessory connector after use. Prolonged use of the accessory connector with the engine off may discharge the battery.
  • Do not use an electrical device or accessory with a power consumption above 12V (10A).
This may cause damage to the power outlet or the vehicle wiring.
  • Use only electrical devices drawing less than 10 A.
  • While using the power outlet, set the air conditioning or heating to the minimum level.
  • Close the cover when not in use.
  • Some electronic devices may cause interference when connected to the vehicle's power outlet. These devices may cause strong radio noise and malfunctions in other electronic systems fitted to the vehicle.
  • Make sure electrical devices are firmly plugged in. Otherwise, the electrical systems may malfunction.
  • If you use a battery-powered electrical device, current may flow from the device into the vehicle and cause the electrical systems to malfunction. Use only electrical devices that can prevent current from flowing into the vehicle.
  • CAUTION Do not insert fingers or foreign objects (pins, etc.) into the power outlet, and avoid touching it with wet hands.

You may receive an electric shock.
