- Switch off the engine.
- To open the fuel filler door, pull the release lever upward.
- Fully open the fuel filler door (1) by pulling it outward.
- Refuel with LPG. During refueling, do not fill the tank above 80%.
The vehicle will automatically stop the fuel flow when 80% is reached.
In any case, if the 80% level is exceeded, have the system checked by an authorized Kia dealer.WARNING
- Do not fill the tank above 80%.
- Always turn off the engine before refueling.
- Keep away from flammable materials during refueling.
- Start the engine only after checking that the fuel cap is securely closed.
- LPG is highly flammable.
If anything catches fire, you may be burned. Keep sparks, flames and cigarettes away from LPG. Do not smoke near LPG or during refueling.
- Refuel at a pressure above 3.0 MPa.
- Refuel a leaking or damaged tank.
- LPG can cause cold burns and frostbite. Never allow LPG to contact skin or eyes.
When refueling LPG, always wear gloves approved for LPG use and appropriate protective glasses.
Park the vehicle on a level surface when refueling LPG.
This is due to an increase in pressure inside the LPG tank. This is completely normal and does not indicate a problem with the LPG tank.
If you have difficulty refueling LPG for the reasons above, follow these steps:
- Use gasoline (refuel with gasoline).
- Avoid refueling LPG on very hot days.
- Do not refuel LPG for home use.
