The alarm will be armed if any of the following occurs after the system is armed.

  • A door is opened without using the remote control (or smart key).
  • The tailgate is opened without using the remote control (or smart key).
  • The hood is opened.

The horn sounds and the hazard warning lights flash continuously for about 30 seconds. To turn off the system, unlock the doors using the remote control (or smart key).
