Lap belt (if equipped)

Fastening the seat belts: To fasten the static two-point seat belt, insert the metal tongue (1) into the buckle (2). When the tongue latches into the buckle, a distinct "click" will be heard.
Make sure the belt is properly latched and not twisted.

On static two-point seat belts, the length must be adjusted manually so that they fit snugly against the body. Put on the belt and pull the free end to tighten it.
The belt should be positioned as low as possible around the hips, not the waist. If the belt is too high, it may increase the risk of injury in an accident.

When using the center rear seat belt, the buckle marked "CENTER" should be used.

Unfastening the seat belts: The seat belts can be unfastened by pressing the release button (1) on the buckle.
WARNING The buckle mechanism of the center lap belt is different from that used on the rear three-point seat belts. When fastening the rear three-point seat belts or the center lap belt, make sure their tongues are inserted into the correct buckles, so that the maximum protection provided by the seat belt system and its proper operation are ensured.
