If the ignition is set to the ON position (engine not running) with the rear passenger seat belt unfastened, the corresponding seat belt warning indicator will illuminate and remain lit until the belt is fastened.

Then, the corresponding unfastened seat belt warning indicator will illuminate for approx. 35 seconds if any of the following occurs:

  • The user starts the engine while the rear seat belt is not fastened.
  • The user continues driving at a speed above 20 km/h while the rear seat belt is not fastened.
  • The rear seat belt is unfastened while driving at a speed above 20 km/h.

If the rear seat belt is fastened, the warning indicator will go out immediately. If the rear seat belt is unfastened while driving at a speed above 20 km/h, the corresponding warning indicator will flash and the chime will sound for approx. 35 seconds. However, if the rear passenger's seat belt is fastened and unfastened twice within 9 seconds after being fastened, the corresponding seat belt warning indicator will not illuminate at all.

Height adjustment (front seat)

Regulacja wysokości

For maximum comfort and safety, the height of the seat belt anchor point can be adjusted to one of 4 positions.

The height of the adjusted seat belt should not be too close to the neck of the person wearing it.

The shoulder portion of the belt should be adjusted so that it crosses the chest and the center of the shoulder, closer to the door than to the neck.

To adjust the height of the seat belt anchor point, lower or raise the anchor point in the adjuster until it reaches the desired position.

To raise the anchor point, pull it up (1).

To lower it, pull it down (3) while holding down the adjuster button (2).

Releasing the button will lock the anchor point in the selected position. To make sure the anchor point is locked, try to move it.

WARNING
  • Make sure the shoulder belt anchor point is locked in position at the desired height. Never wrap the shoulder belt around the neck or face.

An improperly worn seat belt can cause serious injury in an accident.

  • Failure to replace seat belts after an accident may leave damaged belts in the vehicle that will not provide protection in a subsequent collision, resulting in injury or death to occupants.

After an accident, replace the seat belts as soon as possible.
