To open the sunroof, pull the sunroof control lever rearward.

To close the sunroof, push the sunroof control lever forward.

Automatic sunroof opening: Pull the sunroof control lever rearward to the second detent position, then release it. The sunroof will open fully.

To stop the sunroof at any time while it is moving, briefly pull or push the sunroof control lever.

Automatic sunroof closing: Push the control lever forward to the second detent position, then release it. The sunroof will close automatically until it reaches the stop. To stop the sunroof at any point while it is moving, briefly pull or push the sunroof control lever.

CAUTION When driving with the sunroof fully open (or partially open), wind buffeting or a pulsating noise may be heard in the vehicle. This noise is normal and may be reduced or eliminated by taking the following actions. If you hear noise with the sunroof open, slightly reduce the sunroof opening.

Automatic Reversal

If an object or part of a body is detected while the sunroof is closing automatically, the sunroof will reverse direction and then stop.

The automatic reversal function does not work if a small obstacle is trapped between the sliding glass and the window frame. Before closing the sunroof, always make sure all passengers and objects are kept clear of it.

WARNING
  • Do not attempt to change the direction of the sunroof by placing your hand or any other part of your body in its path.
  • The automatic reversal function may not work if something enters the sunroof opening just before it fully closes.
