Head Restraint (if equipped)

The rear seat is equipped with head restraints for the safety and comfort of passengers. The head restraint not only provides comfort but also protects the head and neck in the event of an accident.
WARNING- For maximum effectiveness in an accident, adjust the head restraint so that its center is at the height of the center of gravity of the head of the person seated. In most people, the center of gravity of the head is at about the same height as the upper line of the eyes.
Also position the head restraint as close to the head as possible. For this reason, using a cushion that holds the body away from the seatback is not recommended.
- Do not drive the vehicle with a head restraint removed. In an accident, occupants may suffer serious injuries. Head restraints can protect against serious neck injuries only when they are properly adjusted.
Height Adjustment Up and Down (if equipped)

To raise the head restraint, pull it up to the desired position (1).
To lower the head restraint, press the release button (2) at its base, then lower the head restraint to the desired position (3).
