WARNING

Do not let the wheels spin at high speed in place, and do not allow anyone to stand behind the wheels while pushing the vehicle: When the vehicle cannot move, wheels spinning in place at high speed endanger safety. The tires may overheat and burst, creating a risk of serious injury.

CAUTION

Attempting to move off too forcefully on slippery surfaces may cause the engine to overheat and damage the transmission and tires.

If the vehicle is stuck in snow, sand, or mud, rock the vehicle by alternately shifting into first (or D) and reverse, and gently pressing the accelerator pedal.
