The front seats are heated by built-in heating elements.
- Start the engine.
- Press the LO (low) or HI (high) part of the switch. The indicator light for the selected switch position comes on.
The heating element is controlled by a thermostat that turns the heater on and off automatically.
The indicator light stays on as long as the switch is in the ON position.
- Be sure to turn the switch to the OFF position when the seat is warm enough or when you leave the vehicle.
WARNING
The seat heater must not be used if the occupants cannot control the high temperature of the seat or, due to a physical disability, cannot feel pain in the parts of the body that come into contact with the seat. Use of the seat heater by these persons may cause serious injury.
WARNING
- The battery may discharge if the seat heater is switched on when the engine is not running.
- Do not use the seat heater for long periods or when no one is seated in the seat.
- Do not place anything on the seat that can insulate heat (blanket, cushion, seat cover, etc.) as this may cause the seat to overheat.
- Do not place hard or heavy objects on the seat and do not puncture it with a pin or similar object. This could damage the seat heater.
- Any liquid spilled on the heated seat must be cleaned up immediately with a dry cloth.
- Never use gasoline, benzene, solvent or a similar product to clean the seats.
- If the seat heater malfunctions or does not work, set the switch to the OFF position and have the system checked by your NISSAN dealer.
