All-Season Tires. Summer Tires. Winter Tires

All-Season Tires

HYUNDAI fits all-season tires on some models to provide good performance for year-round use, including in snowy and icy road conditions. All-season tires are marked ALL SEASON and/or M+S (mud and snow) on the tire sidewall. Snow tires have better traction in snow than all-season tires and may be more suitable in some areas.

Summer Tires

HYUNDAI fits summer tires on some models to provide superior performance on dry roads. The performance of summer tires is significantly reduced on snow and ice. Summer tires do not have the M+S (mud and snow) rating on the tire sidewall. If you plan to drive the vehicle in snow or ice conditions, HYUNDAI recommends using snow tires or all-season tires on all four wheels.

Winter Tires

If you equip your vehicle with snow tires, they must be the same size and have the same load capacity as the original tires. Snow tires should be installed on all four wheels; otherwise, handling may be adversely affected. Snow tires should be inflated to 4 psi (28 kPa) higher than the pressure recommended for standard tires on the tire placard on the driver's side B-pillar, or to the maximum pressure stated on the tire sidewall, whichever is lower. Do not drive faster than 120 km/h when your vehicle is equipped with snow tires.
