Engine Coolant Replacement

Have the engine coolant replaced by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer in accordance with the Schedule at the beginning of this chapter.

WARNING

Do not add engine coolant or antifreeze to the washer fluid reservoir.

Engine coolant can severely reduce visibility if sprayed on the windshield and may cause loss of vehicle control, which may result in an accident.

Engine coolant may also damage the paint and body finish.

NOTICE

To avoid damaging engine parts, cover the radiator cap with a thick towel before adding coolant, so that coolant does not get onto engine parts such as the alternator.
