Tire Inflation Pressure
For Your Own Safety
The service life of the tires, as well as the level of comfort and safety, depends to a large extent on the quality of the tires and how carefully their inflation pressure is maintained.
Check the tire inflation pressure, including the compact spare tire and the standard spare tire, at least twice a month and before every long trip. Incorrect tire pressure adversely affects vehicle handling, increases the risk of tire damage and may lead to an accident.
Do not drive with underinflated tires.
A flat or underinflated tire significantly impairs vehicle performance during driving and braking, which may lead to complete loss of control of the vehicle.

Checking Tire Pressure
The specified pressures (at room temperature) are shown on the edge of the driver's door.
After adjusting the tire pressure, initialize the Flat Tire Monitor.
Tire Sizes:
The pressure values apply only to tires of the sizes and brands recommended by BMW for your vehicle, which can be obtained from a BMW Service Center.
