Child Seat Installation with Lower Anchorages

When installing a child seat that is designed to attach to the lower anchorages, do the following:

1. Select an outboard position on the rear seat for the child seat.

The lower child seat anchorages are marked with round labels at the bottom of the rear seatback.

3. Make sure that no foreign objects collect around the lower child seat anchorages, as well as the seat belt buckles and belts. Foreign objects prevent the child seat from being properly secured to the anchorages.
