Engine oil level indicator
(Depending on version)
On versions fitted with an electronic dipstick, the engine oil level status is displayed for a few seconds in the instrument cluster when the ignition is switched on, after the service information, in the form of messages.
Any check of this level is only valid if the vehicle is on level ground and the engine has been off for more than 30 minutes.
Low oil
Indicated by a message displayed asking you to adjust the level, together with the service warning light coming on and an audible signal.
If the oil shortage is confirmed by checking the manual dipstick, top up the level without fail to avoid engine damage.

Electronic dipstick fault
Indicated by the message "Invalid oil level reading" displayed in the instrument cluster.
Consult a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.
If the electronic dipstick fails, the engine oil level is not monitored.
While the system is faulty, check the engine oil level using the manual dipstick located in the engine compartment.

Coolant temperature gauge

Engine running:
- In zone A, the temperature is normal.
- In zone B, the temperature is too high. The associated warning light and the STOP warning light come on in red in the instrument cluster, together with a message and an audible signal.
Stop the vehicle in the safest possible conditions without fail.
Wait a few minutes before switching off the engine.
After switching off the ignition, carefully open the bonnet and check the coolant level.
