Fastening

Pull the belt webbing out slowly and smoothly, then insert tongue 3 into buckle 5 (check that the belt is properly locked by pulling on tongue 3).

If the belt locks, release it and pull it out again.

If the belt is fully locked, pull it firmly but slowly to release about 3 cm of webbing.

Release the belt to let the webbing retract automatically, then pull it out again.

If the problem persists, contact an authorised brand partner.

Warning lamp for
unfastened seat belt

Depending on the vehicle version, the lamp comes on when the engine is started if the driver's and/or passenger's seat belt is not fastened.

While driving, the lamp comes on and a warning tone sounds for about 2 minutes until the belt is fastened.

Note: an object placed on the passenger seat may in some cases cause the warning lamp to come on.

Removal

Press button 4 on housing 5 and the belt will retract automatically. Hold the tongue to make this easier.
