Auxiliary heating element (where fitted)

This device allows faster heating of the passenger compartment in cold climates and when the engine coolant temperature is low.

The auxiliary heating element is activated automatically when the engine is started, by turning knob A to the last red segment and switching the blower (knob C) on to at least the first speed.

When the comfort temperature is reached, the heating system switches off automatically.

Note: if battery voltage is insufficient, operation of the heating system is disabled.

System maintenance

During the cold season, the air conditioning must be switched on for 10 minutes at least once a month. Before the warm season, have the system checked by a Fiat Service Network dealer.
