Switch a switches the interior lights on and off.

With switch a in the middle position, lamps c and d switch on and off when the front doors are opened and closed.

Press switch a to the left: lamps c and d remain permanently off.

Press switch a to the right: lamps c and d remain permanently on.

The lamps switch on and off gradually.

Switch b operates the spotlight function.

When the interior light is off, it switches on individually:

• Lamp c when pressed to the left;
• Lamp d when pressed to the right.

Before leaving the vehicle, make sure both switches are in the middle position.

When the door is closed, the lights switch off, preventing the battery from being drained. In any case, the interior light switches off automatically 15 minutes after the engine is switched off if the switch was left in the permanently on position.

Two timer logics are available to make getting in and out of the vehicle easier, especially at night or in poorly lit areas.

The interior lights switch on as follows:

• For approx. 10 seconds when the front doors are unlocked;
• For approx. 2 minutes when a side door is opened;
• For approx. 10 seconds when the doors are locked.

The timer function is interrupted by turning the ignition key to MAR.

After removing the ignition key, the interior lights switch on as follows:

• Within 2 minutes after the engine is switched off, for approx. 10 seconds;
• When a side door is opened, for 2 minutes;
• When a door is closed, for approx. 10 seconds.
• When the fuel cut-off switch intervenes, the lights remain on for approx. 15 minutes and then switch off automatically.

Locking the doors, on the other hand, causes the lights to switch off immediately (unless the fuel cut-off switch intervenes).
