Front
The headrests can be adjusted in height and lock automatically in the desired position.
- Adjusting upwards: lift the headrest until it clicks into place.
- Adjusting downwards: press button a, fig. 30, and slide the headrest down.
On some versions, the front headrests are fitted with the "anti-whiplash" system, which reduces the distance between the head and the headrest in the event of an impact and thereby helps prevent whiplash injury.
On front headrests of the "anti-whiplash" type, the movement of the headrest can be checked by pressing on the backrest with your upper body or hand. This behaviour is part of the system design and must not be regarded as a malfunction.

NoteHeadrests must be adjusted so that the head, not the neck, rests against them.
Only then can they provide their protective effect.
NoteFor the best protective effect of the headrests, adjust the backrest so that your upper body rests upright against it and your head is as close as possible to the headrest.
