Keypad Location

The keypad is located near the driver window and illuminates when touched.

You can use the keypad to:

  • Lock or unlock the doors and liftgate.
  • Program and erase user codes.
  • Arm and disarm the anti-theft alarm.

Keyless Entry Restrictions

Make sure your remote control is within 3 feet (1 m) of the front door handles and the liftgate.

The system cannot operate if:

  • The remote control remains still for about one minute.
  • The vehicle battery is discharged.
  • The remote control battery cannot be charged.
  • Interference is occurring that causes problems with the remote control frequencies.
  • The remote control is too close to metal objects or electronic devices, such as keys or a cellular phone.
