Windshield Washer

Check the windshield washer reservoir fluid level at least once a month (under normal driving conditions).

Check the fluid level in the reservoir as follows:

1. Remove the reservoir cap.

2. Remove the cap so that the hose is fully extended.

3. Check the fluid level mark on the hose.

If the fluid level is low, add washer fluid to the reservoir.

Only use high-quality windshield washer fluid specifically designed for this purpose in the washer reservoir. These fluids have strong cleaning properties and a low freezing point.

After filling the washer reservoir, dampen a soft cloth with washer fluid and wipe the rubber blades of the wiper. This will extend the service life of the wiper blades.

WARNING

Never fill the washer reservoir with antifreeze, engine coolant, or a water and vinegar solution. Antifreeze will damage the body paint, and vinegar solution may damage the washer pump. Use only commercially available fluids designed specifically for windshield washers.
