Replacing the Interior Lamp Bulbs

The interior lamp, personal lamp, vanity mirror lamp built into the sun visor, and door sill lamp assemblies are disassembled in the same way, but they use different bulbs.

1. Remove the front part of the front lamp housing by inserting a nail file or small flat-blade screwdriver under the edge and prying it like a lever.

Front overhead lamp:

Pry up the edge of the front lamp housing.

Rear overhead lamp:

Pry up the middle part of the side edge of the lamp lens.

Sun visor lamp:

Pry up the upper edge of the lens.

2. Remove the bulb from the holder without turning it.

3. Insert the new bulb into the holder. Then install the lens or housing, which should snap into place.
