Replacing Headlight Bulbs

The headlights use halogen bulbs. When replacing a burned-out bulb, hold the new bulb only by its metal base, do not touch the glass envelope with your fingers, and protect it from contact with hard objects. If fingerprints or oil get on the glass, wipe the bulb with a clean cloth dampened with alcohol.

WARNING

Halogen bulbs become very hot during operation.

Therefore, oil or dirt on the bulb glass may cause the bulb to overheat and fail quickly.
