Front Parking Lamp Bulb Replacement

The front parking lamp bulb is located under the high beam headlamp cover.

1. Open the hood.

For vehicles with diesel engines: To replace the left bulb, slide the battery forward (see page 390).

2. Remove the headlamp unit rear cover by turning it counterclockwise.

3. Turn the socket one-quarter turn counterclockwise and remove it.

4. Without turning the bulb, remove it from the socket. Insert the new bulb into the socket until it stops.

5. Install the socket with the bulb into the headlamp housing.

Make sure the connector is fully seated.

6. Install the headlamp unit rear cover by turning it clockwise to lock it in place.

Make sure it is installed correctly, aligning it with the TOP mark.

7. Turn on the lights and check the new bulb.

8. On the left side:

Return the battery to its original position, start the nut on the post, and tighten it securely.
