Brake Fluid and Clutch Fluid
Check the brake fluid level in the reservoirs monthly.

When the brake fluid level is low, the multi-information display shows the symbol "
", which may be accompanied by the message "BRAKE FLUID LOW".
Replace the brake fluid in accordance with the vehicle maintenance schedule.
Use only genuine Honda brake fluid or an equivalent replacement, DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid, to top up the reservoir. Note that DOT 5 brake fluid is not suitable for your vehicle's brake system.
Brake System

The fluid level must be between the MIN and MAX marks on the translucent reservoir wall. If the brake fluid level drops to or below the MIN mark, this may indicate a malfunction in the brake system. Have the brake hydraulic system tightness and the condition of the brake pads checked at a service station.

The brake fluid reservoir consists of two chambers: primary and secondary.
The secondary chamber is located behind the primary chamber. The MAX mark is on the primary chamber, and the MIN mark is on the secondary chamber.
Clutch

The fluid level must be between the MIN and MAX marks on the translucent reservoir wall. Otherwise, top up the brake fluid to the specified level. Note that brake fluid is also used as clutch fluid.

Low fluid level may indicate a leak in the clutch hydraulic system. In this case, have the system checked as soon as possible.
