Rear Lamp Bulb Replacement (in Rear Door)

1. Open the luggage compartment door.
Place a piece of cloth on the edge of the cover located on the back side of the rear door. Remove the cover by carefully prying it with a small flat-blade screwdriver.

2. Determine which of the four or three bulbs has burned out: the stop/rear parking lamp bulb, the reverse lamp bulb, the license plate lamp bulb, or the rear fog lamp bulb (driver's side only).
3. Turn the socket one-quarter turn counterclockwise and remove it.
4. Without turning the bulb, remove it from the socket. Insert the new bulb into the socket until it stops.
5. Insert the socket into the lamp assembly and turn it clockwise until it locks.
6. Turn on the lights and check the new bulb.
7. Install the cover on the rear door.
