If the AFS malfunction indicator illuminates or flashes while driving, pull over to a safe location and stop the engine. If the AFS malfunction indicator remains on or starts flashing again while driving after turning the ignition switch to the ON (II) position, the AFS system is faulty. Take the vehicle to a dealer service center to have the AFS system inspected.

If the AFS system fails, the standard exterior lighting system remains operational.

When the AFS malfunction indicator comes on, the symbol will appear on the multifunction information display«CHECK SYSTEM» (Проверьте систему)., which may be accompanied by the message "CHECK SYSTEM".
