The indicators on the instrument panel show the current position of the automatic transmission shift lever.

The "D" indicator illuminates for several seconds when the ignition is turned to the ON (II) position. If this indicator flashes while driving, regardless of the shift lever position, the transmission may be malfunctioning.

If the engine malfunction indicator and the "D" indicator illuminate at the same time, there may be a malfunction in the automatic transmission control system. In this case, avoid rapid acceleration and immediately drive to an authorized dealer service center for transmission diagnosis.

When the flashing "D" indicator warns you of a possible transmission malfunction, the following symbol appears on the display:«CHECK SYSTEM» (Проверьте систему).This may be accompanied by the message "CHECK SYSTEM."
