Для включения режима D3 нажмите на выключатель режима D3, который расположен

To activate D3 mode, press the D3 mode switch located on the side of the shift lever knob. The "D3" indicator will illuminate on the instrument panel.

D3 mode can only be activated when the ignition key is in the ON (II) position and the D range is selected.

При включении этого режима автоматическая коробка передач работает так же, как

When this mode is activated, the automatic transmission operates the same as in the D range, except that automatic shifting is limited to the first three gears. Use this mode when towing a trailer and for engine braking on steep downhill grades. This mode also prevents repeated shifting between 3rd and 4th gear in stop-and-go traffic.

Moving the shift lever from D to any other position cancels D3 mode, and the D3 indicator goes out.

Returning the shift lever to D will reactivate D3 mode and the indicator.

Turning the ignition key to the LOCK (0) position cancels this mode. To activate D3 mode when restarting the engine, move the shift lever to D and press the D3 mode switch.

The D3 indicator illuminates for several seconds when the ignition key is turned to the ON (II) position.

2 (Second Gear) position: To select this range, press the lock release button located on the side of the shift lever knob. In this position, the transmission is held in second gear. Downshifting does not occur even when the vehicle slows down to a stop.

Select this range:

• To improve vehicle acceleration when driving uphill.

• For strong engine braking on steep downhill grades.

• When starting off on slippery surfaces or driving in deep snow.

• To prevent drive wheel slip.

• When driving downhill while towing a trailer.

1 (First Gear) position: To select this mode, press the switch located on the side of the shift lever. In this position, the transmission is held in first gear. By shifting between the 1, 2, D3 and D ranges, you can control the automatic transmission in a manner similar to a vehicle equipped with a manual transmission with an automated clutch.

Gasoline Engine Models

When range 1 is selected at a speed above 50 km/h, the transmission will shift into second gear.

This is provided to prevent sudden, abrupt engine braking.

Vehicles with diesel engine

When range 1 is selected at a speed above 40 km/h, the transmission will shift into second gear.

This is provided to prevent sudden, abrupt engine braking.
