Valves

PROCEDURE

1. Clean the valve with a wire brush.

2. Inspect each valve for the following defects:

– damage or deformation of the valve stem;
– damage to the valve head;
– damage or uneven wear of the valve stem end.

If necessary, repair or replace the valve.

Margin thickness:
Intake valves: 1.1 mm
Exhaust valves: 1.3 mm
Minimum margin thickness:
Intake valves: 0.8 mm
Exhaust valves: 1.0 mm
