If there is a problem with the brake pedal while driving, emergency braking can be applied by pulling up and holding the EPB switch. Braking is only possible while you hold the EPB switch. However, the braking distance will be longer than normal.

WARNING

Do not operate the parking brake while the vehicle is moving except in an emergency. This may damage the brake system and cause a serious accident.

✽ NOTICE

During emergency braking, the parking brake warning light will come on, indicating that the system is operating.

CAUTION

If there is noise or a burning smell after using emergency braking, have your vehicle checked by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer as soon as possible.
