Torque Control and Anti-Yaw Assist (VSM)

~1min read

The Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) system, which includes Torque Control and Anti-Yaw Assist, helps maintain vehicle stability during acceleration or sudden braking on wet, slippery or uneven roads, when traction on all four tires may suddenly become uneven.

WARNING

When using the Torque Control and Anti-Yaw Assist (VSM) system, observe the following precautions:

  • ALWAYS monitor its speed and the distance to the vehicle ahead. This VSM does not replace proper driving practice.
  • Never drive too fast for road conditions. The VSM cannot prevent accidents. Excessive speed in turns, sudden maneuvers and hydroplaning on wet surfaces can always lead to serious accidents.
