Electronic Stability Control (ESC)

The Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system helps maintain vehicle stability during cornering.
The ESC system monitors the direction you are steering and where the vehicle is actually heading. ESC applies brake pressure to any wheel that is braking and intervenes in the engine control system to stabilize the vehicle. It does not replace proper driving practices. Always adjust your speed and driving style to road conditions.
WARNING
Never drive too fast for road conditions or too fast when going through a curve. ESC does not prevent accidents.
Excessive speed in curves, sudden maneuvers and hydroplaning on wet surfaces can still cause serious accidents.
