The driver can use only the conventional cruise control mode (speed control function) by doing the following:

1. Turn the Smart Cruise Control system on (the cruise indicator light will illuminate, but the system will not activate).

2. Press and hold the vehicle distance button for more than 2 seconds.

3. Select "Smart Cruise Control" and "Cruise Control".

If the Hyundai i30. mode button or the Hyundai i30. mode button is used to cancel the system after the engine is started, the Smart Cruise Control mode will be enabled.

WARNING

When using cruise control mode, you must manually adjust the distance to other vehicles by pressing the accelerator or brake pedal. The system does not automatically adjust the distance to vehicles ahead of you.
