Parking brake automatically engaged

When EPB is applied from Auto Hold, a warning sounds and a message appears.

AUTO HOLD disabled! Press the brake pedal

When the transition from Auto Hold to EPB does not operate properly, a warning sounds and a message appears.

When this message is displayed, Auto Hold and EPB may not operate. For safety, depress the brake pedal.

Press the brake pedal to cancel AUTO HOLD

If you do not press the brake pedal when cancelling Auto Hold by pressing the [AUTO HOLD] switch, a warning sounds and a message appears.

AUTO HOLD conditions are not met. Close the door and hood.

If the [AUTO HOLD] button is pressed while the driver's door or hood is not closed, a warning sound will be heard and a message will appear on the instrument cluster LCD.

Press the [AUTO HOLD] switch after closing the driver's door and hood.
