Temperature Control

Turn the knob clockwise to increase the temperature. Turn the knob counterclockwise to decrease the temperature.

Air Intake Control

Press this button to select outside (fresh) air or recirculated air.

Recirculated Air Position

When recirculated air is selected, air from the passenger compartment is drawn through the climate control system.

Outside (Fresh) Air Position

When outside (fresh) air is selected, air is drawn from outside the vehicle through the climate control system.

Information

Using the fresh air mode is recommended.

Prolonged operation of the heater in the recirculated air mode (without A/C selected) may cause the windshield and side windows to fog up and the air inside the cabin to become stale.

Also, prolonged use of air conditioning in recirculation mode will cause excessively dry air inside the vehicle.

WARNING

To avoid serious injury or death:

• Continued use of the climate control system in the recirculated air position may allow humidity to increase inside the vehicle, which may fog the windshield and side windows and reduce visibility.
• Do not sleep in the vehicle with the air conditioning or heating system on.
• Continued use of recirculated air may cause drowsiness or sleepiness and loss of vehicle control. Set the air control to the outside (fresh) air position while driving.
