Front and rear Axle Lock (Tru-Lok) — if equipped
The AXLE LOCK switch is located on the instrument panel (to the right of the steering column).

Axle Lock Switch Panel
This feature is only activated when the following conditions are met:
- Ignition in the RUN position, vehicle in 4WD Low.
- Vehicle speed must be 16 km/h or less.
- Both the right and left wheels on the axle are turning at the same speed.
To activate the system, press the AXLE LOCK switch down to lock the rear axle only (the REAR ONLY indicator will illuminate). Press the switch up to lock the front and rear axles (the FRONT + REAR indicator will illuminate). When the rear axle is locked, pressing the lower part of the switch again locks or unlocks the front axle.
NOTE:
The indicators will flash until the axles are fully locked or unlocked.
To unlock the axles, press the AXLE LOCK OFF button.
Axle lock is disengaged if the vehicle is shifted out of 4WD Low, or the ignition key is turned to the OFF position.
Axle lock is disengaged above 48 km/h and automatically re-locks when vehicle speed is below 10 mph (16 km/h).
