Off Road+ — if equipped

Off Road+ is designed to improve the user experience when using special off-road driving modes. To activate Off Road+, press the Off Road+ switch on the switch bank. Vehicle dynamics will improve depending on which four-wheel drive (4WD) mode is active.
NOTE:
Off Road+ will not operate in 2WD High mode. If the button is pressed in 2WD High mode, the message "Off Road+ Not Available, Shift to 4WD" will appear in the instrument cluster display.
When Off Road+ is active, the following functions are activated:
- The Off Road+ indicator light will illuminate in the instrument cluster display
- A mode-specific message will be displayed in the instrument cluster display
- Off Road pages will be displayed on the radio head unit if selected in radio settings
- The Off Road camera will start if selected in radio settings
In Off Road+ mode, the vehicle will behave differently depending on the 4WD mode in use. The following enhancements occur when Off Road+ is used.
4 L
- Engine/transmission calibration: Rock Crawl and steering focus, shift schedule change when rock crawling, pedal calibration changed to reduced gain and low range, operates at lower vehicle speeds
- Traction control system: Aggressive locking brake differential tuning at lower speed or in FIRST gear
- Off Road+: recalls last state between ignition cycles
4H (High 4WD)
- Engine/transmission calibration: improved sand performance / wheel slip focus, shift schedule change for sport mode, pedal calibration set to aggressive, operates at increased vehicle speed
- Traction control system: high wheel speed, slip tuning, brake locking differential, engine-free control
- Electronic Stability Control: ESC off with unlimited speed
- Off Road+: default is off between ignition cycles
Cruise control and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) will not operate when Off Road+ is used. A dedicated cluster message will be displayed indicating this if any function is activated while in Off Road+.
If the ESC OFF button is pressed in Off Road+ mode, the following will occur on the vehicle:
- Pressing the ESC OFF button: Traction control will be disabled, but stability control remains active.
