Axle Lock Switch Panel

This feature is only activated when the following conditions are met:

  • Ignition in the RUN position, vehicle in 4WD High.
  • Vehicle must be active in Off Road+ mode.
  • Vehicle must be in ESC "Full Off" mode.
  • The vehicle must not be actively in wheel slip or sharp turns.

To activate the system, press the AXLE LOCK switch down to lock the rear axle only (the REAR ONLY indicator will illuminate).

To unlock the rear axle, press the AXLE LOCK OFF button.

Axle lock is disengaged if the vehicle is shifted out of 4WD High, Off Road+ is turned off by the driver, ESC "Full Off" is turned off, or the ignition switch is turned to the OFF position.

NOTE:

The indicators will flash until the rear axle is fully locked or unlocked.

The rear axle lock system may temporarily disengage the rear driveline under certain conditions.

In this case, the rear axle will automatically re-lock as soon as the system allows.
