When the transition from Auto Hold to EPB does not operate properly, a warning sounds and a message appears.

CAUTION

When the above message appears, depress the brake pedal. Auto Hold and the EPB may not activate.

If the EPB is applied during Auto Hold because of ESC (Electronic Stability Control), a warning will sound and a message will appear.
